Born in Hungary in 1979, Márta Kucsora graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2002 and went on to study at Montclair State University in the United States, where she obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in both. In 2006 she returned to Hungary to co-found "Budapest Art Factory" and launch her own creative career.
Márta Kucsora's work is an abstract representation of nature, but she never depicts it directly, but rather recalls the changes that have taken place in it. In her work we can glimpse elements of Claude Monet's Impressionism as well as traces of Jackson Pollock's Abstract Expressionism. The artist brings her unique consciousness and style to the explorations and experiments she undertakes, constantly breaking with tradition and creating bold works.
Márta Kucsora's work is now included in many public and private collections in the UK, China, USA, Germany, and Hungary.
