Cobra Gallery is bringing its first new exhibition of 2025, “Spring Overture”, as a prelude to the beginning of a new chapter. This is an exploration of renewal and the future. Through the works of various contemporary artists, we will read the inspiration from nature and realize the vitality of all things.
With their own unique artistic language and visual expression, the participating artists present the symbolism of the seasons in three dimensions: awakening from silence, breaking through the gloom, and transitioning from cold to warmth, in terms of themes, materials, and imagery. Viewers are invited to enter the spiritual and visual world of spring, and through these works to feel the rhythm of life and the touch of the heart during the change of seasons.

Artists' expressions of the life force in nature have their own focus. Chen Yujun's paintings focus on nature in the context of a humanistic system, expressing the wandering of personal emotions in the natural environment. Vanessa Barragão's works are characterized by a delicate handcrafted technique with a more pronounced femininity, while Márta Kucsora's expression is closer to a macro-narrative, if the former depicts a drop of water, the latter is more like a representation of an entire ocean.

“Spring Overture” means that the exhibition opens with the spring and then the new seasons, and it also means that this exhibition is Cobra Gallery's first attempt at a new model, and it is a prelude to a new chapter. We will use “Spring Overture” as the introduction to start a new model. We will embrace more unknowns and possibilities through sharing and cooperation.
